Survivors include son, Bobby Gist Jr of Belleville; daughter & son-in-law, Lori & Leslie Shockley of Danville; mother, Mozell Gist of Danville; sisters Francis Shartlel of Belleville; Betty Lou Abel of Kentucky; brother & sister-in-law Elmer & Judy Gist of Virginia; grandchildren Donald & Steven Heathman; Rikki, Alex & Cody Gist of Paris several nephews & nieces.
