Mrs. T. H. Rumbaugh

Mrs. Thomas H. Rumbaugh, 85, of 318 Wooster Rd., Mt. Vernon, Ohio, the former Bertha Holliday of Volant and Grove City, died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday in Grove City Hospital after a week of illness. She was born in Butler County July 7, 1880, to the late Thomas P. and Elizabeth Strawhecker Holliday. She was the wife of Thomas H. Rumbaugh and lived in the Grove City-Volant area for 54 years before moving to Mt. Vernon six years ago. Mrs. Rumbaugh was a member of Grace Methodist Church of Grove City and the Winner's Bible Class of the church. Surviving are her husband and a daughter, Mrs. J. Ray (Twila) Walters of Grove City; a son, Ralph of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; two grandsons and 10 great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the H. Glenn Cunningham and sons Funeral Home in Grove City from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. The service will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the funeral home with Rev. H. Clair Heitzenrater of Grace Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Plain Grove UP Cemetery.
