He married Dorothy May (Farnsworth) Childs on December 15, 1951 in Perkinsville, VT.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy and four stepsons, Donald Childs of Texas, Warren Childs of Wallkill, N.Y., Roger and Larry Barrows of Springfield; a stepdaughter, Marie Earle of Camillus, N.Y.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
