Melissa Jean Lowe, 23, of Taylor formerly of LaGrange died Sunday, December 11, 1994, in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
Services were held Wednesday, December 14, 1994, in the First Baptist Church in LaGrange by the Rev. Ron Fisher and the Rev. Harold Dickerson. Burial was in the Marks Cemetery in LaGrange.
Born March 23, 1971, in Quincy, Miss Lowe was a daughter of Michael L. and Cheryl Foust Lowe.
Miss Lowe was a 1989 graduate of Highland High School where she was active in drama club and had been a cheerleader. She also had attended Culver -Stockton College and Norwest [sic] Missouri State University in Maryville. She was a member of First Baptist Church in LaGrange and had been an employee at Quincy Medical Group for two years.
Survivors include her parents of LaGrange; two sisters, Heidi J. Lowe of Canton and Michelle Lowe of LaGrange; a maternal grandmother, Flossie Foust of LaGrange; paternal grandparents, Bob and Betty Meyer of Canton; maternal great-grandmother, Maguerite Foust of the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Miss Lowe was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gene Foust; paternal grandfather, Donald Lee Lowe; and one cousin; Dawn Job.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in LaGrange.
