Joyce "Lucille" Maxwell, 86, of Beauxart Gardens went to meet her Savior on May 12th 2013.
She was born in Bogalusa, LA. on March 20th 1927 and had recently celebrated her 70th wedding anniversary.
A gathering of the family and friends will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church, 10169 S. Hwy 69 in Port Arthur where she had been a faithful member for 65 years. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Faith Tabernacle.
Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Melancon's Funeral Home in Nederland.
Lucille was preceded in death by her son Douglas E. Maxwell.
She is survived by her husband, H.N. "Jack" Maxwell; sons, H.N. "Jacky" Maxwell and Leslie H. Maxwell; brother, Douglas Peterson; sisters, Linda Barthelemy and Jean Goodwin; daughter-in-law, Melanie Maxwell; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
