Lawrence Demott is Gr....Grandfather of Pat Jackson. As a direct descendant of Lawrence Demott it was a great honor to receive the "coffin flag" at the dedication honoring his Revolutionary War Service at the Old Mud Meeting House in Harrodsburg, Mercer Co, KY in Sept 2007.
Althought Lawrence Demott is not actually buried at Old Mud Cemetery the dedication and Revolutionary Stone is placed there. The actual burial is at the old Banta-Demott Cemetery which is completely overgrown now.
