Cpl. Robert P. "Bobby" Warns II died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, in Lutifiyah, Iraq, while serving his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, 2/24 Golf Company, Weapons Platoon. He was born May 2, 1981, in Waukesha, to Robert P. and Bridget M. (nee McDermott) Warns. Bobby graduated in 1999 from Catholic Memorial High School. He would have been in his senior year at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He had been a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church since 1981. Bobby left for Iraq on Sept. 15.
