Richard "Dick" T. Gamble, 69, of Coal City, passed at 10:00 a. m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, at his residence.
Dick was born, September 20, 1943, in Sullivan, to Russell & Lucille (Bridgewater) Gamble.
He was retired from CP Railroad. He was an avid coon hunter. He belonged to the Elnora Outdoor Club and Shelburn Coon Hunters Club.
Dick is survived by his wife, Judy (Marshall) Gamble; mother, Lucille Gamble, Linton; three children, Lisa (Rick) Snider of Lafayette, Rick (Carla) Gamble of Worthington and Richard ‘Dick' T. gamble Terri (John) Wegner of Spencer; daughter-in-law, Angela Gamble of Coal City; nine grandchildren, Drew and Lindsay Snider, McKaila Wardlaw, and Trey, Kendra, RT, David, Ella and Anna Gamble; two sisters, Judy Vanator of Orlando, FL and Connie Miller of Linton; and two brothers, Jim Gamble of Linton and Tom Gamble of Jasonville.
He was preceded in death by his Father, and one son, Aaron Gamble. Funeral servicee will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, Worthington, at 7:00 P. M., Wednesday.
Friends may call at Welch & Cornett from 4:00 until the time of service on Wednesday.
A graveside service and burial will be in Fiscus Cemetery in Coal City, at 11:00 a.m., Thursday.
