Garry Lee Abbs, 58, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 29, 1946, in Upland, Calif. A resident for 27 years, he was a dry wall contractor, a Vietnam War Army veteran and a member of the Vietnam Veterans Association International.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; four sons, Garry L. Abbs II and Rob Abbs, both of Henderson, Michael Abbs of Las Vegas, and Steve Abbs of Fairfield, Calif.; two brothers, Larry Abbs of Kingman, Ariz., and Jerry Abbs of Bakersfield, Calif.; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
