NORTHERN CAMBRIA — LUTHER– Mary Jane, 88, Northern Cambria, passed away July 4, 2012, at DuBois Nursing Home. Born Sept. 8, 1923, in Spangler, the daughter of Antonio and Giovanina (Tita) Paone. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert Luther, who died Sept. 9, 1988; brothers, William, Charles and Carl Paone; and sisters, Lea LaBelle and Norma Paone. Survived by sons, James R. Luther, married to former Janet Westover, DuBois, and Scott A. Luther, Florida; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Stella Macek, Massachusetts. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and Legion of Mary. Former active member of Northern Cambria Senior Activities Center and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday at Prince of Peace Chapel, Father Larry Lacovic officiating. Committal, Holy Cross Cemetery
