Mr. Lance Corbin Wright, 31, resident of Flint Ave. died May 11th, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Wright was born September 18th, 1981 in Guilford County, a son to Corbet Lee and Dena Williams Wright. He was a resident of this area all his life and was a member of Allendale Baptist Church, which he loved very much. He also was a musician and founded Cross and Crown Gospel Music Group. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Carl and Phyllis Williams and Christopher and Margie Wright; an uncle, Christopher Wright Jr.; two aunts, Carol May and Inze Wright; and a cousin, Mona Hassan.
Surviving are his parents of the residence; one brother, Corbet James Wright of the residence; a great-grandfather, Furman Mundy of Midland, TX; aunts and uncles who he loved very much, Jerome Wright, Kenny and Amanda Wright, Jody and Timmy King, Geraldine and Wayne May, Robbie and Carol Williams, Scott Williams, Rick Williams, Pat Primach and Shelia and Darrell Thompson; and several cousins along with members of his gospel group, Trevor McDowell, Randy Pucket and Jeff Davis.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Allendale Baptist Church with Rev. David Younger officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the church. Memorials may be directed to Allendale Baptist Church, 900 E. Springfield Rd. High Point, NC 27263.
