Mr. Booth was born January 7, 1927 in Lakeview, SC and passed away at home on Thursday, May 9, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was a son of the late Marion Truss Booth and Eva Marie Smith Booth.
Mr. Booth was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and 32 year employee of E.I. Dupont. He was a member of Chapin United Methodist Church and the Methodist Men's Club, American Legion, Lions Club, and a life-time Mason.
Mr. Booth is survived by his children, William Russell "Rusty" (Marilyn) Booth, Jr. of Chapin, David Allan (Jan) Booth of Hendersonville, TN, and Eva "Marie" B. (Billy Ray) Rich of Chapin; brother, George H. Booth; grandchildren, Brandon D. (Aubrie Gatlin) Booth, Daniel A. Booth, and Ashley Marie Booth; great-granddaughter, Sloan M. Booth; and dearest companion, Miriam Brickle. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Addie Mae Sherrill Booth; brothers, Marion L. Booth, Robert P. Booth, and Joe O. Booth; and sister, Anne B. Iseman.
