Carl was a veteran who proudly served in the United Stated Army and he was an active member in the American Legion, he was devoted to the elderly in his community and always there to support his friends and family. A memorial service will be held on Thursday May 9, 2013 at 12:00 noon from Kays-Ponger Uselton Funeral Home 2405 Harbor Boulevard Port Charlotte. A gathering of family and friends will be from 11:00AM until the time of the service. Burial will be at Sarasota National Cemetery with Military Honors following the service.
