Charles first marriage was to Vesta Lee Crum, she passed away when their son Ernest Langley was one years old in 1913 from tuberculosis.
Charles second wife was Ida Pearl Clubb. They had one child, a daughter, Dorothy Ann. Charles passed away in 1917, leaving his children fatherless.
After the death of Ida Pearl in 1918 the children were orphaned.
Charles parents raised Ernest. I have found census listing Ernest in their census records but not Dorthy.
I was told that Ida Pearl's parents had raised Dorthy.
