Mayfield, Ky — Herschel Floyd Givens, 79, of Mayfield died at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and retired from USEC.
He is survived by one daughter, Jan McKinney of Mayfield; one brother, Ralph Givens of Lyles, Tenn.; three grandchildren,and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. His parents were Lonnie and Nancy Parker Givens.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mayfield with the Rev. Eric Riley officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. Monday at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
