MSgt Barbara Dulinsky was the first woman Marine in Vietnam arriving March 18, 1967 and was stationed at Saigon, Vietnam assigned to the United States Military Assistance Command, Vietnam (MACV) combat operations center. She would be the first female Marine assigned to a combat zone.
Barbara was born in San Francisco, CA, the daughter of Ross and Anna Noel Dulinsky and sister to June E. Dulinsky Strong, Gladys Irene Pederson Shook and Alice L. Pederson Crump .
