Lee R. "Cuz" Franklin 78, of Clinton, passed away at 4:00 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2006 in his residence. He was born May 27, 1928 in Santa Paula, California, the son of Tennyson Franklin and Inos Parks Franklin.

He was a 50 year member of the Asbestos Workers Local 18, where he worked as an insulator. He was also a member of the Clinton Lions Club and had served on the Zoning Board for several years.

He was preceded by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Norma Upton Franklin of Clinton; two daughters, Terry Franklin of Clinton and April Crafton and her husband, David of Greenville, Texas; two grandchildren, Kristina and Mitchel; and one great-grandchild, Katie Lee and a sister, Pauline Rigsby of Glasgow, Ky. He lived 10 years in Noblesville.

Services will be Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in Frist Funeral Home with Rev. In Suk Hong-Peebles officiating. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Inc. in Indianapolis. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
