Charles E. Bunger, age 84, formerly of 1462 Smith Road, passed away in Mercy Hospital of Hamilton, Sunday at 7:25 p.m. He was born in Darrtown, Ohio, the son of Alva and Ada (Overholtz) Bunger. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and also a former member of KFC number 968 and of the FOE number 407. He was a farmer in Butler County for 50 years, retiring in 1977. In 1934 in Hamilton he was married to Helen Lagedrost, and she preceded him in death in 1977. He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister. Prayers at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of the Christian Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home Tuesday 6-8 p.m. Memorials to the American Cancer Society.
