She was born Jan. 13, 1915, in Belleville, the daughter of J. Wesley and Hilda Pussmiller Rapp. She married Raymond C. Miles in 1951 in Witt; he died in 2000. A son, Wesley Miles, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Miles, a homemaker, was a graduate of Nokomis High School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pana where she had been director of the Blue Angel Choir and the Junior Choir. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in No-komis.
Survivors: daughter, Sherry Miles of Springfield; two sons, Richard (wife, Betty) Miles of Nokomis and Carter Miles of Payson; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; an a great-great-grandchild.
Services: 10 a.m. Friday, First United Methodist Church, Pana, the Rev. In-Sook Hwang and the Rev. M. Thomas Swantner officiating. Burial: Nokomis Cemetery.
