Mary Krieger, 92, of Greensburg, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 7, 2013. She was born Jan. 29, 1921, in Italy, a daughter of the late Anthony and Clara Melillo Gangi. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James C. Krieger; two brothers, Ralph and Samuel Gangi; and two sisters, Bettie Chester and Jessie Garner. She is survived by a son, James A. Krieger and wife, Rose, of Waldorf, Md.; a daughter, Sandy Krieger, of Hagerstown, Md.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Donna Seaman and husband, Gerald, of Mt. Pleasant. Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Andrew Yaremko officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
