Henrietta (Wilson) Harness was the 7th of 10 children of Judge William Wilson and Elizabeth 'Betsey' Kitchell. Her father was post master and judge in Palestine for many years. On 4 Aug 1863 in Crawford County, Illinois, she married Jacob O Harness (1823-1872) as his third wife. (Jacob is buried in Oak Grover Cemetery with his first two wives.) Henrietta and Jacob seem to have had two children: Job L Harness, born about 1866 (from 1870 US Census), and a daughter who is buried near Henrietta with no name except DAU. of J.O & H. Harness who died April 19, 1868 Aged 10 mo. 9ds.
