ARCHIBALD, DOROTHY M. (GALVIN), 88, of Warwick, died Friday, April 5, 2013 at Kent Regency surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late E. Leslie Archibald, Jr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Harold W. Galvin and Mary L. (Hannigan) Galvin. Mrs. Archibald was a Receptionist and Switchboard Operator for the Warwick School Department, where she was a devoted employee, until her retirement in 1997. She enjoyed her home and loved all of her Collies, especially "Lassie." She was a Communicant of St. Gregory the Great Church and a member of the St. Xavier Alumnae Association. She leaves her two devoted sons, Timothy Archibald of Warwick and Donald J. Archibald (WWPD) and his wife Melissa of Warwick. She was the sister of Barbara R. Burke of Cranston, Ellen L. Thomson of Hollywood, FL, and the late Vincent H. Galvin.
