Mrs. Della Woomer
Rites will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Kimes Funeral Home for Mrs. Della Woomer, 84, former resident of Parkersburg who died Tuesday in the Prince George Hospital at Cleverly, Maryland.
William Varner will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Born in Wood county, she was a daughter of the late Riley and Roseanna Buckley Boso. She was affiliated with Kingdom Hall.
Survivors include five sons, Lawrence Woomer of Huntington Park, Calif., Albert Woomer of Hialeah, Fla., Emmanuel Woomer of Lake Isabelle, Calif., John H. Woomer of Parkersburg and Ray Woomer of Hyattsville, Md.; six daughters, Mrs. Mabel Bates of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Fay Hartley and Mrs. Avis Lemley, both of Parkersburg, Mrs. Doris Picke of Hollywood, Fla., Mrs. Cora Flinn of Washington, D.C. and Mrs. Effie Hoce of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Harry Boso of Sandyville, 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. today.
