Rosanna/Rosannah Barker was a daughter of John and Mary Barker. Siblings identified at this point are Joseph, James, Maria/Mariah (one daughter says her name was Mary Mariah), Aaron B., and John.

(It is important to specify Aaron B. because there was another Aaron M. Barker who was born about the same time, but died in June 1879 - re 1880 Fed Mortality Index - who was one of the Monongalia County cousins. Many researchers are confused by this.)

There was no doubt other children who had left home or died that have not been identified yet. Father John is said to have been from Monongalia County, Virginia, but with District and County lines changing so much, it is hard to track them...

Rosanna married John Watson on April 14, 1835, in Tyler County. (W) Virginia. (Probably the part that later became Pleasants.)

The children of John and Rosanna were Andrew Jackson, Joseph Barnett, Christiana, and James P. and Mary K. "May" who both died in infancy/toddler.

*Other young people that are seen on later censuses are relatives or others that they took into their home, that have otherwise been identified. Lots of mistakes are getting copied online.
