He was born Oct. 26, 1968, in Pittsburgh, a much beloved son of Robert N. and Kathleen A. (Weber) Roscoe, who both survive in O'Hara Township, Pittsburgh.
He was employed by ITL Lumber Co. of Endeavor at the time of his death. He was previously employed as an electrician by Allegheny City Electric of Pittsburgh.
George loved nature, the outdoors, gardening, woodworking, hiking and cooking. He was well known for sharing his knowledge and love of nature with everyone. He was an avid sports fan.
He was loved by friends and family alike for his generous spirit, kind heart, and willingness to lend a hand. He adored animals, especially his beloved cats, Jelly Beans the late Taz. Words cannot express how dearly he was loved or how deeply his loss will be felt by one and all.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Pamela J. Irvine and her husband Scott, of Fenelton; a nephew and a niece, Alex and Kate Irvine; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Worrell Funeral Home, 820 Main St., Sharpsburg, 15215.
Burial and other services will be private.
Local arrangement are being handled by the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.
