MR. CURLEY
ATLANTA, Ga. -- Mr. Barney H. Curley Jr. of Atlanta, formerly of West Point, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001 at his home.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at Northside United Methodist Church in Atlanta with Dr. Gil Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Marseilles Cemetery in West Point at 4:30 p.m.
Mr. Curley is survived by his wife of 55 years, Martha Owen Curley; his brother, J. Charles Curley of College Park, Md.; and three nephews, John C. Curley of Cantonsville, Md., Stephen Curley of Easton, Conn., and James B. Curley Jr. of Pittsford, N.Y.
Mr. Curley attended Georgia State University. He retired from Houghton Mifflin Co. as regional accountant in the Southeastern Regional office. Since retirement, Mr. Curley had been a dedicated member of the U.S. Small Business Administration in counseling service. He was an active member of Northside United Methodist Church where he served in various capacities.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fuqua Heart Center of Atlanta at Piedmont Hospital.
The family will receive friends Thursday at 1 p.m. at the church parlor.
