Stanley Whitacre, 17, son of Mr and Mrs William Whitacre of Springfield and Miss Hazel Burroughs, 17, daughter of Mr and Mrs Sherman Burroughs of Urbana, were quietly married in probate court late Saturday evening by JP Northcutt Justice of the Peace. The parents of both parties consented to the marriage.
Mr and Mrs Whitacre will make their home in Springfield where Mr Whitacre is employed as night foreman at the Ohio Electric Station.
