Mary Farrish Creel Windham (81) went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 2:30pm She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by one son, Mark Koursh (Bonnie), Sauk Centre, MN; five daughters, Mary Hughes (Cliff), Omaha, AR, Janie Welborn (Jeff), Seminary, MS, Wanda Street (Winston), Laurel, MS, Vedia Warr, Theodore, AL and Rachel Schoen (Allan), Moselle, MS; sister, Helen Leigh, Black Hawk, MS; brother, Marvin Farish (Rose), Black Hawk, MS; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dessie Farrish, Black Hawk, MS; brothers, L.Z. Farrish, Sr., Black Hawk, MS and Dick Farrish, Black Hawk, MS and sisters, Minnie Lee Acy, Black Hawk, MS and Doris Compton, Greenwood, MS. She was a member of Plainway Baptist Church, Laurel, MS.
An Ellisville, MS visitaiton will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 5:30pm - 8:00pm at Ellisville Funeral Home and a Greenwood, MS visitation will be held on Sunday, May 12th from 2:00pm – 5:00pm at Williams and Lord Funeral Home, Greenwood, MS. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 13th at 11:00am at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Black Hawk, MS. Brother Nonnie Jefcoat will preside over the funeral services. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Milton Farrish, Junior Farrish, C.D. Farrish, Walter Compton, Lin Leigh, Bubba Acy and Barry Acy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.
