Brian Cooper, 46, of Amarillo died Thursday, May 9, 2013.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Cox Funeral Home Benton Chapel with Charlie Cox officiating. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Brian was born June 15, 1966, in Amarillo to Beverly and Karl Cooper Jr. He was a truck driver by trade and a dedicated bull hauler. Brian also was known to be somewhat of a prankster, playing jokes on anyone at any time. He will be missed by one and all, especially his mother, Beverly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Karl W. Cooper Jr.; and his grandparents, Karl W. Cooper Sr., Lee Cooper Dodson and Clint Needham.

Survivors include his children, Chance, Logan and Chasie Cooper, all of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Brighton and Rowan Cooper, both of Amarillo, and Blayklee Cooper of Panhandle; his mother, Beverly Cooper of Amarillo; his siblings, Barry Cooper and wife Desiree, Chris Cooper and wife Rhonda and Lanie Caldwell and husband Chris, all of Amarillo, and Shawn Cooper and wife Kim of Lawton, Okla.; his grandmother, Claudine Wilson of Amarillo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
