Brian Scott Welch, 49, of Greenville, OH, passed away April 1, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, OH. He was born June 11, 1963 in Union City, IN, the son of William A. and Patricia A. Taylor Welch.
Mr. Welch was an E.M.T. and worked on the Union City Ohio Rescue Squad before being disabled.
He is survived by his loving companion, Rhonda Taylor of Greenville, OH; daughter, Felicha Dawn Carroll of Springfield, TN; three stepchildren, Shawnda Marie Kruse, Victor Shane Carroll, and Heather Nichole Taylor; five grandchildren; mother, Patricia A. Taylor of Winchester, IN; brother, Terry (Christina Fay) Welch of Winchester, IN; three sisters, April Welch of Syracuse, IN, Jackie F. Nero of Elkhart, IN, and Barbara A. Welch of Winchester, IN: two stepsisters, DArla Gale (Brian) Miller of Union City, OH, and Rachael A. (Nick) Woodbury, Union City, IN; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father, William A. Welch.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Reichard Funeral Home, Inc., Union City, IN with Rev. Brian Jenkins and Rev. Alfred Pettie officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union City Cemetery, Union City, IN.
