LEWISTOWN - David M. "Mike" Bodley, 70, of Lewistown, died at 11:25 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at his home.Born on March 7, 1943, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Charles F. and Annie (Smith) Bodley.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.Mike is survived by: his wife, Zora (Stackhouse) Bodley, whom he married on Nov. 20, 1965; children, Jennifer Oberlin and husband, Troy, of Beavertown, and Michael Bodley and wife, Ruth, of Germany; three grandchildren, Tehoni Weirick, Zachary and Mikayla Bodley; and siblings, Charles Bodley and wife, Helga, and Janet Carchidi, both of Camp Hill.Mike was a 1961 graduate of Lewistown High School.He served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1964.He was a Protestant by faith.Mike began working at Standard Steel in 1966 and retired in 2009.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Heller- Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Inc., Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., with the Rev. Philip Tundel officiating.The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.Interment will take place in Mount Rock Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made to Lewistown Home Nursing Agency, Hospice, 129 S. Main St., Suite T, Lewistown, PA 17044.
