Bill Crouse, age 85, of Brookfield, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at St. Luke's Northland Hospital in Kansas City.
The visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. SATURDAY May 11, 2013, at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home in Brookfield and the family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 in the evening. A funeral service will be MONDAY, May 13, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Park Baptist Church in Brookfield with Rev. David Blakely and Rev. Mark Conyers officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Chillicothe.

William E., son of Elza and Arvilla (Swann) Crouse, was born January 3, 1928, in Utica. On April 4, 1954, he married Lorene Pennington who preceded him in death December 30, 1999.
Bill went to work as a watchmaker and jeweler for James Jewelry in Brookfield beginning in 1956, he later purchased the business and retired in 1999.
He was a member of Park Baptist Church in Brookfield where he served as a Deacon, was a Sunday school teacher, and member of the choir. He was a member of Linn County Community Chorus for many years and had served on the Brookfield R3 School Board.
Survivors include two children, Amy Crouse and husband, Steven Beldin of Kansas City and Bill Crouse and wife, Cathy of Altoona, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Mathew Crouse and wife, Caitlin of West Plains, Leslie Crouse of Clinton, and Angela Beldin of Nashville, Tennessee; two sisters-in-laws, Norma Crouse of Nevada and Lahoma Crouse of Chillicothe; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Calvin Crouse, Leon "Bob" Crouse, and Don Crouse; and two sisters, Marilee Edwards and America Crouse. //////William E Crouse
