Age 76, August 2, 1995 at Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet and a lifelong Joliet/Crest Hill resident. Retired from electro-motive Division LaGrange, IL after over 35 years of service. A member of the Senior Citizens Association. Preceded by her husband, Frank "Fats" Mance(1981). Her parents John and Mary Majetich, one sister Mary Embling, two brothers, John and Tony Majetich, one grandchild, Donald Blazekovich. Survived by three daughters, Geri(James)Grant of Sarasota, FL, Marilyn(James)Conroy of Avon Park, FL and Jeanine(Wayne)Steinquist of Joliet, one son, James(Sandra)Mance of Downers Grove, IL. 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren. Four sisters, Fran Kevish, Josephine Majetich and Pauline Mack all of Joliet, and Catherine Holly of Florida. Two brothers, Steve Majetich of Florida, Edward(Marge)Majetich of Plainfield. Numerous nieces, hephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services for Evelyn Mance will be Saturday, August 5, 1995 at 9:00 a.m. from the West Chapel of St. Ambrose Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Internment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice in her name would be appreciated. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
