Benjamin Franklin Kruse, 95,of Maud, Texas, died Sunday, May 22,2005, in a local hospital. Mr. Kruse was born July 24,1909, in Bowie County, Texas. He was a retired foreman for Cotton Belt Railroad and attended First Baptist Church, Maud. He was preceaded in death by his wife, Beatrice McClurg Kruse, in 1994. Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Norris of Lewisville, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Karen Kruse and Doyle and
Judy Chandler of Redwater, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Elmer and Mildred Kruse of Simms, Texas; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Maud, with the Revs. Tim Brown, Kenneth Anthony, and
J.D. Graham officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery, under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 27, Maud, Texas, 75567. Relatives
