Rachel L. Maxwell, 87, Bethany, Mo., formerly of Ridgeway, Mo., passed away Saturday, April 30, 2005 at a local nursing home.
Rachel was born January 11, 1918 to Gordon and Olive Comer.
She loved living on the farm with her husband Claude and family in Ridgeway.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Claude; son, Raymond; brothers, Jess, Dee, Floyd, and Ace Comer, sisters, Cordia Westlake, Flo Stanley, Mildred Jones and Lois Hawkins.
Survivors: son, Roger Maxwell, Ridgeway; sisters, Nina Hogan, Bethany; and Lavene Forman, Ft. Worth, Texas; three grandchildren, Brad, Scott, and Shanda; three great-grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, with family visitation Tuesday 7 to 8 p.m. at the Polley-Slaughter-Polley Funeral Home, Ridgeway. Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery, Ridgeway.
