Actor. He was one of the most beloved Spanish actors of his time. He was able to play such comedic and dramatic roles. His work during the 70s bears the name of Landismo. He is fondly remembered for his role in "Los Santos Inocentes" that earned him the Cannes Award to best actor, along with Paco Rabal. He also obtained three Goya Awards, the last in 2007 for his lifetime achievement. He was cremated in Cementerio de Colmenar Viejo (Madrid) and his ashes moved to Pamplona, his birthtown.
