Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 1 at Oakwood Baptist Church, Kansas City, MO. Burial Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Floral Hills Chapel. Memorial contributions to Melanoma Cancer Research. Ricky was born in Urbana, MO, and was a dockman driver for ABF Freight Line. He was a member of the Oakwood Baptist Church, U.A.W. Teamsters Local #41, Boy Scout Troop # 269 & 344, and the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He was preceded in death by his father, David R. Collier. He is survived by his wife Paula D. Collier, and son Kyle Collier, both of the home; mother Shirley E. Collier, Gravois Mills, MO; maternal grandmother Zella Barclay, Tunas, MO; sister Brenda Dickson, Independence, MO; brother Larry Collier, Gravois Mills, MO; and nephews Ben Dickson, Alabama, and Davey Collier, Gravois Mills, MO.
