Petronillo "Pete" Jaramillo, age 88, born in San Antonito in the Sandia Mountains, a lifelong New Mexican passed from this life to be with our Lord in Heaven on May 7, 2013. Pete was a hard worker who loved people, loved fiestas and loved dancing. Pete was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy and daughter, Darlene. Pete is survived daughter, Bessie Gallegos, son, Ray Jaramillo, daughter, Maxine Avery and her husband, Bob, daughter, Ernestine Alderate and her husband, Al, son, Michael Jaramillo and his wife, Lucy Ann, son, Vincent Jaramillo and his wife, Isabel, son, Joe Jaramillo and his wife, Vivian and daughter, Geneva Jaramillo and her partner, Patsy, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to express great appreciation to the staff at Kaseman skilled nursing unit for the wonderful care and compassion that was given to Pete. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Theresa Catholic Church, 300 Mildred Ave. NW. Interment will take place in a private ceremony on Saturay, May 11, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Park.
