Christopher Holman, 72, was called home by his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.

Christopher was born on November 18, 1940 in Quincy, FL. He graduated from Quincy High School and attended Emmanuel College (Franklin Springs, GA) and Florida State University.

Christopher served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War during which time he was stationed in the Philippines.

He retired from the Florida Public Service Commission after 30 years of service.

Christopher loved antiques, music (especially symphonies and operas),paintings and plants. He truly enjoyed growing citrus trees and sharing their bounty with friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Gertrude Holman and his father, Christopher Benjamin (C.B. or "Mr. Ben") Holman.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice.

The graveside service will be held Friday, May 10, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Cemetery in Quincy, FL. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the graveside.

Charles McClellan Funeral Home, 15 S. Jackson St., Quincy, FL., (850) 627-7677, is in charge of arrangements.
