Former Area Woman Dies In Germany
STATE CENTER - Friends here have received word of the death of Deborah K. Nelson Webster, 23, Thursday, March 15 in the U. S. Army Hospital in Nurenburg, Germany.
Mrs. Webster, the wife of SP/5 Burton F. Webster, died from complications following gall bladder surgery. Besides her widower, she is survived by two children, Jennifer, 3, and Jeremy. 18 months; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Nelson, formerly of Marshalltown and State Center, now living at 905 S. Chestnut St., Arlington Heights, Ill.; two sisters, Kim and Julie, and a brother, Jay. A grandfather also survives.
She was born May 11, 1955, at Marshfield, Wis. She was graduated from West Marshall High School and from the Marvelle Beauty School in Milwaukee in 1974. She married Burton F. Webster Dec. 14, 1974, in Cedarburg, Wis. Her husband joined the U. S. Army in 1976 and they were stationed in Denver, Colo., and Augusta, Ga. before going to Nurenburg two years ago. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and active in the Service Wives Club.
The Hansen Funeral Home in Marshfield, Wis. is in charge arrangements. There will be a wake from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church in Marshfield Burial will be there.
