MIFFLINBURG - Mildred F. "Dolly" Bickel, 69, of 202 Meadow Lark Lane, passed away at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, where she was taken after suddenly being stricken ill at her home.She was born Aug. 9, 1943, in rural Middleburg, a daughter of the late Levin J. and Florence E. (Zeiber) Musser. She was later adopted by Clack and Dorothy Troxell. On June 5, 1982, she married James M. Bickel, who survives.Dolly was a 1962 graduate of West Snyder High School.She had been employed at Kirby Manufacturing, McClure, Kinney Shoe Corp., Beaver Springs, and was last employed by Hallmark Industries, McClure.She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, McClure.In addition to her husband, she is survived by: one son, Scott A. Schrader and wife, Jennifer, of Sunbury; three daughters, Brenda L Jones and companion, Mike Stender, of Sunbury, Amy S. Bickel, of Mifflinburg, and Kerri A. Quaglia and husband, David, of Flemington, N.J.; two grandchildren, Nathan Jones and companion, Sarah Welshans, and Tiffany Jones; four great-grandchildren, Kaden, Lilly, Lin and Jaron; two brothers, Cyril "Frank" Musser and Robert L. Musser, both of Milton; and three sisters, Arlene A Fetterolf, of Florida, Violet C. Boyer, of Watsontown, and Nancy M. Day, of Mifflinburg.She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles W. and George H. Musser, and four sisters, Margaret Betty Jane, Pauline E. and Irene D. Musser and Patsy I. Shemory.Friends and family will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, with Pastor Lisa Schuster, STS, officiating.Burial will be in the St. John's Black Oak Ridge Cemetery, McClure.Contributions in Dolly's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1420 N. Susquehanna Trail, Selinsgrove, PA 17870, or the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43214.
