ROBERT HERMAN OLIVER, NF5T, 80, passed away Friday, August 13, 2004 at his home. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 16, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Edgar Jones of Graham and Reverend Hubert Foust of Mineral Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home. Mr. Oliver was born March 30, 1924 in Altus, Oklahoma to the late Robert Herman Sr. and Mary Etta Curtis Oliver. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marines serving during World War II. He married Imogene Singletary April 27, 1946 in Altus, Oklahoma. He moved to Graham in 1946 to be employed with Morrison Funeral Home where he worked until 1979 as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. Mr. Oliver was the owner of Young County Monument Company. Robert was an avid Amateur Ham Radio Operator, a 30 year volunteer fireman for the city of Graham, a 50 year member and Past Master of Young County Masonic Lodge #485, a 32° Scottish Rite Mason, a member of the Lake County R.V. Club, Vintage Auto Club, Lake County Amateur Radio Club, First Baptist Church, a former President of the Graham Jaycees and a former member of the Graham Rotary Club. Survivors include; wife Imogene Oliver of Graham; sons, Bobby Oliver and wife Emily of Waxahachie, Allen Oliver and wife Barbara of Graham, Steve Oliver and wife Lisa of Graham; sister, Marty Roberts and family of Hooker, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Memorials may be to the Solaris Hospice, 507 Fourth Street, Graham, Texas 76450.
