North Branch, Mar. 24—John Linck, aged 78 years, died Thursday morning at his farm home five miles east of North Branch, following an extended illness. Death was due to heart trouble. Deceased was one of the pioneers of Lapeer county and had made his home in this vicinity since boyhood. He is survived by two sons and two daughters, John, Aloise, Mrs. McGillis, of Brown City and Gertrude, who kept house for her father. The funeral will be held Monday morning at St. Mary's church Burnside. Burial will be made in St. Mary's cemetery, Burnside. Published in The Times Herald, Port Huron, Michigan March 24, 1922, Friday∼ John was buried on the Linck family plot. There is no small marker with his name.
