Former Well-Known Liscomb Woman Dies After Long Sickness.

Mrs. Martha J. Ralls, wife of Nathan F. Ralls, 111 North Third street, a former old and well-known resident of Liscomb township, died at St. Thomas hospital at 2:45 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Death was caused by uremia, with which Mrs. Ralls had suffered at different times for several years. She had been the victim of chronic heart and kidney trouble for a long time and in an effort to give relief an abdominal operation was performed Jan. 2. Uremia developed following it.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralls lived for many years on a farm near Liscomb before moving to this city twelve years ago, where they have since resided. Mrs. Ralls was born Martha J. Humphreys."

"The funeral of Mrs. N. F. Ralls was held at the home, 111 North Third street, at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The service was conducted by Rev. B. F. Martin. The pallbearers were R. C. Brock, H. E. Brock, Lee Marley, C. Jones, T. E. Lockard and H. Spohr. The flower bearers were Mesdames John Weber, Stanley Hall, J. A. Ralls and Miss Theresa Stepan. Burial was in Riverside."
