Jerry was the son of Grady and Vera Gaither. His wife was Martha Jean Carroll Gaither. God blessed them with five children. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Jerry was a veteran of the Vietnam War, and died of lung complications due to "Agent Orange Disease."
