BOYETT, CLINTON C., died May 14, 1983 at age 72. A native of Winn Parish, LA, he was a resident of Fortuna.
Mr. Boyett came to California, and to Humboldt County, in 1949 where he made his home in the Fort Seward area, moving to Fortuna in 1967.
He was a mill worker for 36 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Rohnerville Assembly of God Church in Rohnerville.
He is survived by his wife, Audie Boyett; daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and Lawrence Harvey, Debbie and Clinton Jacobs, and Helen and Virgil Riddlesperger; his brothers, William H. Boyett and S.B. Boyett; sister, Chlorine Meredith; his grandchildren, Laurie and Mark Harvey, Melanie, Doug and Misty Riddlesperger, and Dawn Crawford; and numerous other relatives.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services at the Rohnerville Assembly of God Church, Rohnerville, at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with Pastor John Hudgins officiating.
Interment will follow at Sunrise Cemetery in Fortuna.
Friends may call for visitation at Goble's Chapel, Fortuna, from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday.
