Mrs. John A. Griffey
Mrs. John A. Griffey, 49, a resident of Dallas most of her life, died Wednesday morning at her home, 1103 East Waco, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Griffey was born in Dell, Mo. She attended Oak Cliff High School and Crescent College at Eureka Springs, Ark. In recent years, she was an accountant at George J. Greer Company.
Survivors include her husband and three sisters, Mrs. Mona I. Ashby and Mrs. W. D. Reaves, both of Dallas, and Mrs. Donald R. Mullinex of Arlington.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Poole Funeral Chapel, 315 South Hampton, with Dr. Lewis N. Stuckey, pastor of Tyler Street Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
