Noted signer of 1833 Muscogee (Creek) Treaty at Ft. Gibson, Indian Territory.

Children of Benjamin Perryman:

1 SAMUEL PERRYMAN, married to a white woman named MARY. He served in the Creek War of 1813-1814. Moved west to Indian Territory in 1829. Became a chief of the Creeks in 1833. Signer of the 1845 treaty. He died at Coweta in 1880. His chidren were: WILLIAM born 1853, and NOBLE, born 1853.

2 CHRISTOPER COLUMBUS PERRYMAN, also called "Christy". Moved west in 1829. Died 1877 at Coweta. He was listd as an Old Settler esident of Big Springs, his family including LEWIS,DAVID, MARY,SARAH, and ISAAC.

3 MOSES PERRYMAN, married MOLLIE HITCHITA ( Creek) and was the father of: JANE BURGESS, born 1838, and of JOSEPH MOSES who later becme a chief of the Creeks.

4 JAMES PERRYMAN, called "Red Perryman",born 1774, died at Coweta in 1882 at age 88.

5 LEWIS PERRYMAN, born 1787,died at Burlington, Kansas, he married ELLEN, and HATTIE WARD, he was the father of LEGUS C., GEORGE B., JOHN W., SANFORD WARD, THOMAS WARD, KIZZIE. Some sources say he also had a son named LEWIS.
