Joshua Jason 'J.J.' Patterson -- Age 30, a native of Tampa, FL and a resident of Fairhope, AL died Sunday, July 13, 2003 at a local hospital. J.J. was a 1992 graduate of Fairhope High School and was an avid bass fisherman and worked for Dyn Corp as a helicopter mechanic at Ft. Rucker. He is survived by his wife, Jacque Elmore Patterson; one son, Luke Patterson; and one daughter, Anna Patterson all of Fairhope, AL; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Y.B. and Carolyn Patterson of Fairhope, AL; one sister, Melanie Franklin of Fairhope, AL; maternal grandmother, Juanita Limes of Fairhope, AL; mother-in-law, Faye Elmore of Fairhope, AL; brothers-in-law, Tyson Elmore of Baltimore, MD and Louis Franklin of Fairhope, AL; niece, Abbey Franklin; nephew, Tanner Elmore; cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 18, 2003 at 10am at Eastern Shore Christian Center. J.J. will lie in state at the church from 9am until time of service. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 17, 2003 at Wolfe Funeral Home from 5pm until 7pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Scott Credit Union, 7146 Stone Dr., Daphne, AL 36526 for a memorial trust to be established for the Patterson children.
