COXSEY, MARY HELEN May 29, 1945 to June 1, 2009 Mary Helen Coxsey was born in National City and grew up in Chula Vista, California. She was a magical person who reached out to all creatures. She was a champion barrel racer for over a decade. In addition to her passion for horses, she dedicated her life to her pets and helping animals. Mary loved the outdoors and lived in Imperial Beach for many years. For the last five years, she lived in Boise, Idaho near her cherished daughter and family. Mary is loved and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa DeLore, three grandchildren, Joe DeLore, Aaron DeLore and DeAnna (Jon) Mundy and a great-granddaughter, Monet Mundy--all of Boise. She is also survived by her sisters Nancy (Sotero) Mendoza, Bernice (Ray) Carver, and brother Joe (Kris) Coxsey and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe B. Coxsey Sr., Teresa Coxsey and brother Earl Coxsey. Services will be private. Family suggests contributions be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Mary. .

As a foot note to this I would like to add that Mary was my neighbor and was a very kind and loving person. I enjoyed her company and we always enjoyed sharing our animal stories.
